About the European Championship of Online Poker (ECOOP)
The ECOOP is a prestigious online poker tournament series bringing together skilled players from all over the world to compete over a number of days for a share of millions of dollars. Famous for its unprecedented online guaranteed prize offerings, the ECOOP has grown to be the crowning glory of online poker tournaments, even awarding its very own trademark ECOOP bracelet.
ECOOP I
The first ever ECOOP tournament series took place over ten days from the 30th November to the 9th of December 2007 and offered a record $2,500,000 in guaranteed prizes. It was a raging success, so we decided to make it a regular feature on our poker calendar.

ECOOP II
Our second ECOOP tournament series was an even bigger achievement, staged over ten days from the 23rd of May to the 1st of June 2008. The guaranteed prize pool offering was an impressive $3,500,000 and took the series to brand new heights.

Staged over a record FOURTEEN days from the 24th of November to the 7th of December 2008 our third ECOOP tournament series made history, due mostly to the guaranteed $4,150,000 prize pool as well as the enthusiasm with which the tournament was received by players eager to finish in the money.
