Double win for Frenchman in ECOOP II
June 17, 2008
Olivier Bouillerce wins over $70,000 at Titan Poker in just 4 days by finishing in the money in 2 separate European Championship of Online Poker (ECOOP II) events.
Titan Poker awarded French player Olivier Bouillerce $73,000 after he scored high results in two consecutive tournaments that were part of its European Championship of Online Poker (ECOOP II).
Bouillerce, who has been playing online poker at Titan Poker for nearly three years, won first place in the exclusive ECOOP II MVP No Limit Hold'em $50,000 Freeroll on June 4, winning $13,500. This tournament was only open to the 100 players at the top of the ECOOP II leaderboard, their place secured by earning participation points throughout the ten-day online series.
Just a few days earlier, on June 1st, Bouillerce won a staggering $60,000 by finishing in sixth place in the ECOOP II Main Event, a $1.5 Million Guaranteed Texas No Limit Hold'em tournament. Bouillerce was one of 1,277 players participating in the exciting, 14-hour-long event.
"Anything is possible (in Poker) and I am happy to have won such a large amount. I want to thank Titan Poker for its assistance and quality services," Bouillerce said after his consecutive cash-outs.
The Second European Championship of Online Poker (ECOOP II) guaranteed a total of $3,600,000 in prizes at the ten daily tournaments, but the large number of online players participating in the tournaments increased the prize pools even higher.
This was the second European Championship of Online Poker staged by Titan Poker. The first ECOOP series was staged in December 2007, which also exceeded expectations by awarding more than $2,500,000 in prizes.
