Titan Poker Player Knocks Out European Pros

November 20, 2004 - Titan Poker player Hokiepoker succeeded in knocking out two members of the internationally acclaimed World Poker Team (WPT) in a $500 Freeroll Tournament held at Titan Poker on November 20, winning a bonus prize of $2,500. In the tournament, Hokiepoker managed to eliminate both WPT captain Jac Arama and Garry Bush (currently ranked 7th in Europe) from the competition, and ended up finishing in second place, winning an additional $100.

WPT members Brian Johnson and John Kabbaj were knocked out earlier from the first of the three exciting tournaments, while Arama and top-ranked European player Willie Tann were knocked out of the second tournament. The first tournament was won by player DOABS, the second tournament was won by bobajob, and the third tournament was won by player StuUnger11. More than 400 players participated in the three freeroll tournaments.

"This was a great opportunity for players to test their skill against us and to try out the exciting and realistic gaming capabilities of Titan Poker," said Jac Arama, team captain of the World Poker Team.
