Bachinski, a player from Russia who plays at Titan Poker with the nickname "TTtheSunAngelinaAA", finished 2nd in the €100K Depositor FR Series #2 freeroll tournament on August 10th, winning a prize of €2,040. We asked him if he would be willing to contribute a short article about himself and the tournament for our website. Here is his reply.
Good day dear players!
First of all, I would like to thank the staff of Titan Poker for the opportunity to share my opinion in front of others directly on this site. For me it's an honor. Honestly, I did not expect that I will be provided with such an opportunity.
A little bit about myself: I was born in Moscow, now I'm 26 years old. I work driving a taxi. My schedule is flexible. Before starting as taxi driver I worked half a year in an online shop as a courier. I am studying poker at professional poker school. My pseudonym is Bachinski.
Here is how the game was proceeding directly during the tournament. I played without any third party software or statistics to help me.
At the table, my action depended on the opponents, taking into account the dynamics of the table. I noticed my opponents were not serious when playing this freeroll. The tournament had three breaks. After the third break there were 45 players left.
I love the style of the vortex - when opponents cannot understand my game. To be able to shift gears in poker is a good skill. There were bad beats and lucky strikes. During the final Heads Up my opponent from Ireland got lucky on the river and he won. What I would like to do is to congratulate him and send greetings.
The structure of this tournament is a dynamic one; there was no time to get bored.
There are a lot of interesting tournaments at Titan Poker.
Everyone will find something to their taste. I wish you all luck!
Remember poker is not all about luck though. A lot depends on the player. For example: bankroll management should be followed. Tilt-resistance and other qualities should be developed.
PS: On the night before the tournament, before falling asleep, I imagined how I crushed everyone in this tournament. I sat down to play with the inner conviction and desire to win. It gave me the upper hand during the tournament.
Final words of advice: Focus on the game, patience, composure and confidence in victor- these are qualities of a winner. Never give up. I wish you luck!
