Week 4 of the fast-paced Sit ‘Win’ Go leaderboard races kicked off this morning and already some familiar names are positioned at the top of the charts. Contending for the top prizes on the Medium and High Leaderboards are two players that have captured the title three weeks in the row and there’s a good chance they’ll continue their winning streaks.
“DarkSugar” from Switzerland is already leading the High Leaderboard race, which ranks players based on their finishing position in sit ‘n’ go tournaments with buy-ins of $30 and up. The Swiss player has won the race in each of the previous three weeks, finishing far ahead of his nearest competitor. First prize in the six-day race awards $300 and “DarkSugar” looks set to win it yet again.
Russian player “zaavtahor” has managed to win the $200 first prize in the Medium Leaderboard race during the first three weeks of Sit ‘Win’ Go, however, in Week 3, his margin of victory was greatly reduced, as he finished just 250 leaderboard points ahead of “NzolTP” from the Ukraine. The race, which ranks players based on their finishing position in sit ‘n’ go tournaments with buy-ins of $10 to $20, has already started its fourth week. As of press time, “xiondz77” from the United Kingdom is slightly ahead of the Russian and it looks like there will be stiff competition all through the race.
Only on the Low Leaderboard have there been different winners during the first three weeks of Sit ‘Win’ Go. This leaderboard ranks players based on their finishing position in sit ‘n’ go tournaments with buy-ins of $1 to $5. In the previous three weeks it was won by "Foratog27" (Portugal); "XxMatadorExX" (Venezuela); and "NeWJesteRRR" (Russia). As of press time, “Mnogokuh28” from Germany is leading the race, so we could end up having four different winners in as many races.
There is exciting news for players who prefer Double Up sit ‘n’ go tournaments, as a special weekly race will be added for them starting January 2, 2012.
