Going Again for Poker Glory

Just last month, Lars Bollhagen from Germany, who plays at Titan Poker under the nickname "2sick2poka," finished in the money at the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT) Luton 2011 £1,000 + £70 Main Event. Lars finished in twelfth place for a prize of £3,180.

Now Lars is bound for poker glory again. Last night he won a €1,800 Irish Winter Festival package and he will play on Titan Poker’s behalf at the tournament in Dublin at the end of October.

After his tournament play in Luton, Lars commented that he “had a nice trip, the hotel was well chosen and the tournament was well organized.”

A total of 76 players participated in last night’s Irish Winter Festival €150+€12 Freezeout Super Satellite. Three winners’ packages were guaranteed, but in the end, six players won their seats, including Lars.

The Irish Winter Festival is an annual poker tournament that takes place over the October bank holiday weekend. This year the tournament will be staged at the Burlington Hotel in Dublin from October 29th – October 31st, 2011.
