Huge iPOPS Success for Titan Poker Players

iPOPS VIn the last hand of the iPOPS-3H $80K GTD tournament Tuesday night, "DeeeAAAA" (Romania) had a substantial lead in chips and was dealt A 4. His final opponent, "Eraserhead86" (Russia) had K Q. When "DeeeAAAA" pushed pre-flop, "Eraserhead86" called with his remaining chips. The flop came A 7 Q, sealing the Romanian's victory.

For outlasting the starting field of 515 players in the $80+$8 re-buy tournament, "DeeeAAAA" was awarded the first place prize of $19,345.39. For his second place finish, "Eraserhead86" was compensated with $14,282.12.

Titan Poker players have been enjoying huge successes at the iPOPS V Major Events this week. On Monday night, Canadian player "mclovin8181" finished in 3rd place in the iPOPS-2H $100K High Roller, winning a prize of $14,824.78. He was closely followed by "MAMOHTT" (Russia), who finished 4th for $11,248.38; and "t8kingtime" (United Kingdom), who finished 5th for a prize of $7,974.81.

The biggest Titan Poker success came on Sunday night, at the opening Major Event of the iPOPS V. "MrPiggi" (Ukraine) was the last man standing out of a starting field of 1,611 players in the prestigious iPOPS-1H $300,000 GTD event, winning the first place of $48,000.

iPOPs V tournaments continue through the week and culminate with the iPOPS Main Event $400K GTD on Sunday night, a $200+$15 freezeout tournament with a $400,000 guaranteed prizepool.


Players off to Good iPOPS Start

iPOPS VTitan Poker players are off to a good start in the fifth edition of the iPoker Online Poker Series (iPOPS V). In iPOPS-2L $50K GTD, the second tournament of the Mini Events of the series, "DiCanio1033" (United Kingdom) defeated a starting field of 1,209 to capture the first place prize of $10,276.84.

"DiCanio1033" had to fight off a challenge from second place finisher "jimma888" from the Ukraine which lasted for 66 hands of heads-up play. On the last hand of the tournament, the pocket twos held by "DiCanio1033" bettered his opponent's A Q, and the win was only cemented when another two appeared on the river.

Along with "DiCanio1033", two other Titan Poker players made the final table of the iPOPS-2L $50K GTD. "YugiohPro" from South Korea finished in 7th place and won $1,783.27. "NzolTP" (Ukraine) finished right behind him in 8th place for a prize of $1,178.77.

The iPOPS V Mini Events continue tonight with the iPOPS-3L $40K GTD High Roller, a $100+$9 freezeout tournament.


Satellites Kick Off for $1,250,000 iPOPS V

iPOPS VSatellites launched today in the Titan Poker software awarding winning players with seats at the upcoming fifth edition of the popular iPoker Online Poker Series (iPOPS V). As in the previous series, the iPOPS will be divided into a week of low-priced events starting November 16th, and a week of major events starting November 23rd.

The series culminates with a $400,000 guaranteed prize main event poker tournament on December 1st. A total of $1,250,000 in prizes is guaranteed in the two weeks of fast-paced online poker action.

Two of Titan Poker's recently introduced tournament types will feature in iPOPS V. The opening event, a $5,000 guaranteed prize tournament on November 16th will have a $1+$0.10 buy-in and re-buys, and players may make multiple entries into the event.

The next night, the iPOPS 2L $50K guaranteed prize freezeout tournament ($50+$5 buy-in) will be a re-entry event, allowing players to make yet another run at the prize money.

There will be multi-entry and re-entry tournaments in the iPOPS High Event week as well. The series will also include high roller events, 6-max tourneys, deepstack tournaments, and the $200+$15 iPOPS Main Event $400K guaranteed prize tournament.

Players can secure their iPOPS V tournament seats by buying in directly, or by winning their way via the many low-priced satellite tournaments running around the clock in the software.


Titans Win 3 Straight iPOPS Tourneys

iPOPS winnersThe iPoker Online Poker Series, with a total of $1,200,000 in guaranteed prizes, is looking more and more like a Titan Poker private event. Three tournaments in a row were won by Titan Poker players, ahead of tonight's iPOPS #8H $500,000 GP, the main event of the entire series.

On Thursday night, 653 players took to the tables to play the iPOPS #5H $20,000 6-Max R/A, a $20+$2 buy-in event with 6-player tables. "Rsaxo" from Lithuania took the first place honors, winning a prize of $7,349.04. "onefreekingtime" from Canada finished in 4th place in the event for a prize of $2,631.86.

The next night, 836 players convened to play the iPOPS #6H $100,000 DS 1R, a $100+$9 2nd Chance tournament allowing players to make a one-time re-buy when their chip stack was equal to, or below 990 chips. First place honors went to "MAMOHTT" from Russia, who took home a prize of $17,480. On the final hand the Qd Jd held by "MAMOHTT" defeated Ac 9c when a queen appeared on the flop. Another Titan Poker player who made the final table was "AceofSpades61" (Netherlands) who finished 7th for a prize of $3,000.

Saturday night saw additional iPOPS action. The iPOPS #7H $40,000 GP, a $50+$5 freezeout, attracted 977 starters. When the smoke cleared, Titan Poker players, all of them from Canada, captured 3 out of the top four positions. Titan Poker's winners were:

1st place = "Cronus360", Canada, $8,431.98 prize

2nd place = "TTR109950812", Canada, $6,106.25 prize

4th place = "sharpeezy", Canada, $3,399.96 prize

On the final hand of the tournament, the pocket jacks held by "Cronus360" held out and beat the suited A T held by "TTR109950812".


iPOPS Is Back, Bigger Than Ever

iPOPS IViPOPs returns for its fourth appearance, and this time the iPoker Online Poker Series is bigger than ever. In addition to guaranteeing $1,200,000 in prizes, iPOPS tournaments will now appeal to players of all bankrolls, as many of the events have low-priced entries.

 Satellites began today in the Titan Poker software for the 15 iPOPS tournaments. The series has been divided into two segments, targeting players with Side Events and Major Events.

The first major iPOPS IV Side Events tournament will take place on April 21st. The $40,000 Guaranteed freezeout tournament on that date will carry a $50 + $5 buy-in. Side Events will continue through April 27th. Included in the Side Events tournaments is a $30,000 Deepstack tournament, a $20,000 Mini Super Tuesday event, a $30,000 Mini High Roller event, and also an event with an inexpensive buy-in of $2 + $0.20.

The iPOPS IV Major Events tournaments kick off on April 28th with a $200,000 Guaranteed freezeout event carrying a $125 + $10 buy-in. The Major Events continue every night through May 5th, when the headliner event of the entire series will be staged. iPOPS #8 will feature a $500,000 guaranteed prizepool and entries to the freezeout event will be available for $200 + $15.

Players can already secure their seats at the iPOPS IV tournaments by qualifying at the many satellites running around the clock. As an added incentive, all players who reach the final table of any of the Side Events will receive a free entry into the iPOPS #8H $500,000 GP Main Event.
