Polish Player Emerges to Top $5K Freeroll

Titan Poker kicked off the month of February with a huge freeroll. 715 players who made deposits with Moneybookers/Skrill during the month of January competed on Thursday night for a share of $5,000 in cash prizes in the $5K Titan's Skrill Depositors tournament. A player from Poland emerged on top of the pack to claim first prize.

“Cezary89” was the last man standing and won a $907.50 prize. The Polish player was ahead at the final table but lost the lead to “ttr132593782” from the Ukraine. The Ukrainian player continued to lead even when “Cezary89” knocked out “Voyeu08” from Vietnam in third place to set up the heads-up match. But then everything changed when “Cezary89” went all-in pre-flop with A 5 and “ttr132593782” called while holding an unexciting Q 8. When the board didn’t help either player, the ace high held by “Cezary89” gave him the majority of chips and on the next hand he was able to eliminate “ttr132593782” altogether.

The freeroll tournament marked the rising skills of Titan Poker’s players from Poland, as fourth place was claimed by Polish player “telma50”. A player from Poland also won the $10,000 Monthly Bonanza tournament staged on January 31^st.
