GUKPT Luton 2011Two Titan Poker players, having won their seats at Super Satellites in the software, finished in the money at the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT) Luton 2011 £1,000 + £70 Main Event.

Austrian Michael Huber, who plays on Titan Poker under the nickname “mainstreamer”, made the final table with a chipstack that was just under average. In Level 20, with blinds 8k/16k and an ante of 1.5k, Huber went all-in with AT against the AQ of Chaz Chattha. The flop was very good for Huber, AT7, but the turn brought a queen and the river blanked.

For his seventh place finish, Huber received £7,420.

Titan Poker’s other qualifier, Lars Bollhagen from Germany, who plays under the nickname "2sick2poka", just missed the final table and finished 12th with a cashout of £3,180.

Lars commented that he “had a nice trip, the hotel was well chosen and the tournament was well organized. I really enjoyed it,” he said.

The tournament was won by Chaz Chattha who took home the top prize £59,360, Toby Lewis finished 2nd for £40,280.

The Luton event is the fourth leg of this year’s Grosvenor UK Poker Tour, the UK’s biggest poker tour which will conclude its 2011 schedule with a Grand Final at London’s Grosvenor Victoria Casino in November.
