The Wednesday $30,000 Gtd tournament is one of the most popular on Titan Poker’s weekly tournament schedule. Last night the event attracted a starting field of 556 players, who each paid the $30+3 entry and then pushed up the total prize pool with re-buys to $32,640. When the final table stage was reached it was dominated by players from Titan Poker.

A total of 206 players participated in the opening event of the WSOP Warrior League 2012 last night, with player “sluglife” emerging as the tournament winner. The Warrior League consists of six tournaments and a grand final, and ranks players based on their finishing position in each tournament. A total of $100,000 in WSOP prize packages is up for grabs for the top-ranked players on the final leaderboard.

The Dutch player who signed up yesterday at Titan Poker certainly chose an appropriate nickname for himself. Shortly after registering, “ipopyouup” signed up to play a satellite awarding seats to the iPOPS #3 $150,000 GP event last night, but failing to win that way, he bought in directly to the big tournament. Eight hours after the tournament began, “ipopyouup” emerged as the overall winner, taking home the first prize of $25,890.
