Fabien Carliez, is an apprentice specialized educator from France, who started playing Draw Poker with his friends in a cellar many years ago. Titan Poker is the poker room where he has accumulated most of his gains, experiences and victories. In his spare time Fabien enjoys playing football and squash.

Congratulations! You are officially a member of the Titan Poker team! How do you feel?

I am very happy to be part of the Titan Team, it's a real source of pride.

What is your professional background?

I am currently doing my third year at the specialized educator school.

How long have you been playing poker (both online and offline)?

I started playing online 4 years ago but I started playing with friends before that.

What would you describe as your biggest victory?

From my point of view, there is not only one big victory. My victory in the $50,000 rebuy were I won $13,000 and my victories at the Super Satellite tournaments for ECPT Salzburg and APT Macao were definitely highlights.

What is your poker philosophy?

To be patient and to always enhance your game.

What is your life philosophy?

I am living day by day and I am trying to enjoy as much as I can.

How would you describe yourself?

I constantly need to be in the action and I am generous.

What is your favorite music/movie?

I really like reggae and I love movies like Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill and the Usual Suspects.

Which poker player do you draw your inspiration from and why?

I read Dan Harrington's books and I learned a lot, but for the past 2 years my favorite player is Bertrand “Elky” Grospellier - the way he plays is spectacular.

As a member of the Titan team, which tournament did you put first on your list and why?

I choose the ECPokerTour Malta because I played at the ECPT Salzburg in April and the atmosphere was really amazing.

What do you plan to do with the money of each tournament (if you win)?

I would really like to travel.

What advice would you give to other players wishing to be part of the Titan team?

Trust your game even after a series of bad beats and, more importantly, improve your game day by day.
