Titan Poker Team - Jose Manuel Gomez Rebenaque

Name: Jose Manuel Gomez Rebenaque

Country: Spain

Jose Manuel Gomez Rebenaque is a family man. His hobbies are poker, golf and watching sport on television (especially soccer).

Well done! You're officially a Titan Poker Team member! How do you feel?

I´m very pleased and grateful for the opportunity that Titan Poker is giving me.

What is your occupation?

I´m an engineer.

How long have you been playing poker for (both live and online)and how did you get started?

I started to play poker when I was 14 years old. I´ve been playing Texas Hold'em for 7 years, since I started to play online.

What is your biggest win so far (live or online)?

Playing off line I finished 83rd at the WSOP Main Event ($57,991), and playing online I was 1st at one tournament with a guaranteed prize from Titan Poker ($65,000).

What are your feelings and philosophy about poker?

It is a lot of fun and brings huge benefits. Thanks to you for having trust in me. Also, it is great to meet all the new people thanks to poker.

What is your life philosophy?

Enjoy life, because you only live once, and for that I have the best of everything, my family and my friends.

How would you describe yourself?

I´m a funny guy and I always try to have fun with the people around me

What is your favorite music/movie?

My favorite music is from the 80's (Supertramp, Pink Floyd, etc..) , but I also listen to new music. My favorite movie is "2001, A Space Odyssey", it perfectly defines the circle of life.

Which poker player do you aspire to be most like and why?

I´m not a fan, I don´t have idols. I like Durrr because he is able to challenge himself and complete his challenges. The best player for me is Phil Ivey because he plays very quietly and this is what makes playing poker easy.

Which tournament/country is first on your list as a new Titan Team member and why?

The first that I will play at is the ECPOKERTOUR Malta. It will be great to take a few days with my wife and visit new places, generally I travel alone when I´m playing in tournaments.

What do you plan to do with the prize money from each tournament (if you win)?

Nothing special. I don´t believe that just because you won a tournament you must waste the winnings. I will invite my friends, as I always do.

Any advice to other players hoping to be a part of the Titan Team?

If you want to become a good player, you need to play a lot. On Titan Poker you have a lot of tournaments to play and learn a lot of things related to this game. If you have the possibility to play offline, do it! This is the only way to lose the fear of playing face to face.
