Kirill Magnusov takes great satisfaction in being the best player from his home country of Russia to have won the Titan Team Country Final Tournament. He has recently started to take his poker game more seriously and plans to play in some live tournaments soon.
Even though it gives me great satisfaction to be the best player from my country, I am happiest about winning the prize money. I am looking forward to my first live tournament sponsored by Titan Poker. I feel it will turn my world upside down and even could change my attitude towards this victory.
I work as a system administrator and when I am not at the poker table, I enjoy playing sports.
I have a degree in electrical engineering.
My first experience with poker was three years ago after I saw an advertisement on TV. I started playing free rolls and over time I made progress. I then participated in a Re-buy tournament with a Buy-in of $1 and won second place. Last summer I decided to take poker more seriously with a helping hand from poker school.
My biggest win came in a freeroll and I won $2,500.
A poker player needs to be aggressive.
Think positive and be optimistic.
I am shy, intellectual and overall a good guy.
I do not have any favourite type of music. The music I like depends on how I am feeling at the moment. My favourite television series is Californication.
There is no one in particular. There are many quality players and I use them as a guide to become better.
I have not yet played in any live tournaments due to the strict rules of the bankrolls. As preparation for the Titan Poker Team, I will definitely play some live tournaments.
Approaching the end of the tournament I became a chip leader. The key moment of the game is probably the one when I unsuccessfully tried to “steal” chips. In the end, I did not succumb to the temptation and loose my stake.
I do not know yet.
I am going to donate some of the money and refill my existing bankrolls. I am thinking about creating a bankroll just for live tournaments.
Play as much as you can and develop your skills. You will not have to wait long before you start to see the benefits of your effort.
