iPOPS 2011 Is a Huge Success

The inaugural iPOPS (iPoker Online Poker Series) was staged as a lightning fast tournament series from November 28th to December 4th, 2011, with a total guaranteed prize pool of $1,000,000. iPOPS consisted of four online events and a live event staged in Prague. In addition, the fourth online tournament, iPOPS #4 $500,000 GP, was paused when only 27 players remained and the action resumed and finished in Prague.

Titan Poker's notable finishes at the iPOPS tournaments:

** "omgdeadsick" (Netherlands) won iPOPS #1 $200,000 GP for a first prize of $32,000.

** "SlevinR0" (Romania) took 3rd place at iPOPS #2 $150,000 GP for a payout of $13,800.

** "GiorgiooArmani" (Poland) took 2nd place at iPOPS #3 $150,000 GP for a payout of $19,500.

When game play paused at iPOPS #4 $500,000 GP, Titan Poker’s Dutch player "panjodeluxe” was the overall tournament leader. Three other Titan Poker players would also take their seats at the tournament tables in Prague: "GrinderBerlin” (Germany), “ShaneGamble” (Malta), and “whatdoiwant” (Greece).

Titan Poker provided live coverage of the iPOPS #4 final table, which was staged at the Ambassador Casino in Prague on December 11th. When the action concluded, Titan Poker’s top finisher was "panjodeluxe”, who captured 5th place for $22,000.

Taking place in parallel at the Ambassador Casino was the iPOPS Live Main Event, the iPoker Network's first live tournament. The event was staged as a two day freezeout event with a buy-in of €700 + €70.

Titan Poker player “T1GHTAN1” (the Netherlands) defeated a field of 107 other starters to win the iPOPS Live Main Event tournament for a first prize of €17,388. The total prizepool of the live event was €75,600.

Other Titan Poker players who won cash prizes in the iPOPS Live Main Event:

**"AHTuKrus" (Russia) finished in 7th place for a prize of €3,213.

** “Olii77” (Germany) finished in 10th place for a prize of €1,890.
