October 29, 2007: Two Players Finish in the Money!

Remy Castaignon (France) finished in 28th place and won $7,190 AUD. Remy also finished in the money at an earlier Australian Open event, winning an additional $1,500 AUD.

Mike Levin (Canada) finished in 33rd place and won $4,790 AUD.

Titan Poker's players enjoyed a full day of tours in the outskirts of Melbourne today. They began the day at the Healesville Animal Sanctuary where they saw a plethora of Australian wildlife, including kangaroos, koalas and dingoes. Afterwards, players were taken to a wine tasting and two-course lunch at De Bortoli Winery and Restaurant. The conversation and camaraderie deepened throughout the meal and bus ride back, making for a perfect lead-in to the players' party, which took place tonight at Fusion, a club in the casino.

Titan Poker players played their first Live Event this evening in the Crown Casino in Melbourne, Australia. This $550 No Limit Holdem with one rebuy/add-on marked the official start to players' Australian Open packages, won through either Titan Poker Satellites or PokerNews Freerolls at Titan Poker.

Titan Poker sent a delegation of 13 players to participate in the exciting Australian Open (Poker News Cup), being staged at the Crown Casino in Melbourne, Australia. More than 400 players are expected to play in the Main Event starting October 27, 2007, an event with an estimated prize pool of at least one million.

Titan Poker's participating players come from Australia, Belgium, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, Poland, Portugal and the UK. In addition to playing in the Main Event, the players will also participate in two special freeroll tournaments and will be shown a few of the area's highlights, including the Healesville Animal Sanctuary, De Bortoli Winery and a Yarra River Cruise. The players are being hosted by Titan Poker's VIP Manager.

Australia's brand new poker event is expected to prove a resounding success, and Titan Poker wishes its players huge success!
