Poker Communities in the United Kingdom

Poker is a game that can be played at home among friends, online at poker rooms like Titan Poker, at brick and mortar casinos, or in special clubs and societies. Poker is very popular in the United Kingdom, and there are many well-organized poker communities and poker societies to promote the game.

Poker communities, both online and offline, have served as a natural development as poker's popularity rises and as the game continues to attract poker players of all ages and backgrounds.

Brick and Mortar Card Rooms

A lot of the poker activity in the UK centers on the country’s casinos, which offer state-of-the-art poker facilities. The Grosvenor Victoria Casino, affectionately known as 'The Vic', is one of the largest and busiest casinos in the United Kingdom. Its attractions include a wide variety of table games and arguably the most iconic poker room in the world. With 45 tables in its main card room, Dusk Till Dawn is the largest and only poker-dedicated venue in the UK. The Broadway Casino in Birmingham is known for its fine poker room, nightly tournaments, cash games, special poker events, and poker leagues.

Other poker rooms in the UK include:

** Napoleons Owlerton Casino, Sheffield

** Stanley Star City Casino, Birmingham

** Rendezvous Casino, Brighton

** Gala Maybury, Edinburgh

Other university poker societies in the UK include:
